Photo on page 2 shows Flo sitting on a couch that she designed and built, with love seat and footstool that she also built. Table is a Cambodian fish basket with glass top. Oil painting by Bruce Muirhead, who was a Middlebury College colleague of John's and our next-door neighbor.
Photo on page 3 shows Flo in her home laboratory. She converted a storage room attached to a 2-car garage, building shelving and desk space, and installing a sink and plumbing, along with an exhaust hood and fan for ventilation.
