Palmer Shorey Genealogy

Compiled by Marjorie Palmer Prince

Marjorie Lena Palmer (Prince), of Sabattus, Androscoggin County, Maine, the eldest sister of my mother, Florence Louise Palmer (Butler), compiled a typewritten manuscript in 1991, The Palmer and Shorey Family Genealogies, 37 pages plus title page.

GEDCOM Data File

Here is my Palmer Shorey Ancestors as of 14-Jul-2025, in GEDCOM format, an open file format for storing genealogical data. It is a plain text file which can be imported into most genealogical applications and web sites, including Ancestry.com.

Notes

Pages 1-27 comprise the Palmer family tree. Pages 28-34 comprise the Shorey family tree, numbered 1-7 in the original. Page 35 is a list of "Those who served in the Revolutionary War." Pages 36-37 comprise a list of References.

All-capitals seems to indicate a parent. Multiple spouses are usually numbered chronologically. In most cases, where the number of children is specified, it seems that all children were attributed to the capitalized parents, though I'm not certain that was intended. In at least two cases, more than one female is listed in all-capitals, which I take to indicate uncertainty as to parentage.
